Michelle King is a resident of Gurnee and currently serves as VP-Store Manager for Macy's, Inc. - Gurnee. She has worked in retail for 18 years and with Macy's for the last five. Customers are her passion and feels that if you treat them right, they'll keep coming back. Macy's has afforded her the opportunity to work more closely with the community through their new philosophy of "Community Minded".

Michelle grew up in Pennsylvania. In fact, her daughter is attending college there now with the intention of becoming a teacher. Education and community go hand-in-hand in Michelle's mind. She looks forward to working with the Education Foundation to help offer more opportunities to the students and staff of RLAS-116.
